Scheme of Evaluation
First Year:
- Theory Courses:
- External: 80 Marks (3 hours)
- Internal (Sessionals): 20 Marks
- Laboratory Courses:
- External: 60 Marks (3 hours)
- Internal: 40 Marks
III to V Semesters:
- Theory: 80 Marks
- Lab: 60/30 Marks + 40/20 Internal

Practical Courses Evaluation
(i) Drawing Courses:
- 3 Unit Tests in First Year (2 hours each, 40 marks)
- 2 Unit Tests per Semester
- Tests follow SBTET Pattern
- All exercises must be filed in order for inspection.
(ii) Laboratory Courses (except Drawing):
- Task/Competency-based learning from SBTET & NITTTR lab sheets.
- Continuous internal evaluation.
- External practical’s: Two examiners (internal + external from industry/govt.).

Passing Marks: 150 out of 300 overall and 50% in final summative.
Minimum Pass Marks
- Theory: 35% in end exam AND 35% overall (sessionals + end).
- Practical: 50% in end exam AND 50% overall.
Improvement Policy
- Allowed once after completing all semesters.
- Maximum 4 courses (excluding labs, projects, industrial training).
- Must be attempted within 2 exams post completion.
- Total period must not exceed 5 years from first admission.
- No improvement allowed if involved in malpractice.
- Must submit original marks memos & diploma certificate.
- If improved, revised memo issued. Else, originals returned.
